Backing up a WordPress site is essential for basically everyone, and I am not immune. I know that now, but thankfully, also know brillant developers who can help me out. As a Project Manager, I didn’t actually know HOW to backup a database, but thanks to necessity, I now understand how to actually USE MAMP, not just brag that I installed it.
‘Silence is Golden” is the message I saw a few months ago when logging into my site. Cute hack.
I noticed all my files had been moved into a folder named ‘disabled’. I moved them around via ftp, but by then, the database was the equivalent of overcooked spaghetti, and equally as tasty. Finally, thanks to Jerry, I’m back, and have only lost some theming, but no files. Rock on.
